At this time, Soulshine Aura is a pop-up and private events aura photography business servicing the DMV and beyond. For public events, we release our pop-up schedule at the beginning of the month on Instagram and appointments will be live on our booking page at this time.

For public pop-up events, all appointments are final.

We respect your time and energy, and we hope you will respect ours too. We cannot reschedule or provide refunds for any reason.

We only allow children to be photographed if they are 4 years of age or older. Little kids are squirmy and to properly capture your energy you must be able to place your hands on our silver bio-feedback sensors for upwards of 20 seconds and hold still. Lots of movement will alter the quality of the photo and we want to make sure you get the best shot!

We typically accept walk-ins at our pop-up events. However, we always offer pre-registration for portrait sessions online and therefore appointments take priority over walk-ins. To guarantee you get a portrait session at one of our pop-up events, please pre-register!

We can photograph you with your pet. We do not currently own the hand plates for pets, but stay tuned for updates as we would love to be able to capture your fur baby’s energy in the near future.

Yes! Aura photography is completely safe for women at any stage of pregnancy. A lot of moms-to-be get photographed with their bump and after once the baby is born to see how their energy shifts. Also, can you talk about how an aura photo pregnancy announcement is the coolest thing ever? :)

The frequency at which you come for an aura portrait and reading is up to you! It depends on how you’re feeling, but we generally say come back when there has been a shift in your energy that you want to see.

That is totally up to you! We suggest wearing whatever makes you feel good! If you wear black your aura may appear closer on your body than if not.

Someone from the Soulshine Aura team will be manning every pop-up and private event! Each member of our team has studied auras with our founder Maggie and all embody a deep connection to their intuition and bring their own gifts into each session.

For every single booked session, you’ll receive one photo. For Yours, Mine and Ours duo sessions, you’ll receive three photos - one of each individual and one together. Our duo package is great do with your best friend/ partner/spouse/ child etc.

Absolutely. We typically photograph two people at a time, but depending on our set-up, we can photograph small groups of up to 5 people. Please note only the energy of those touching the hand plates will be reflected in the photograph.
